ICF Designer

Privacy and responsible email practices

What we collect

ICF Designer stores the information needed to provide an account and project service, such as your email address, account details and building-project data. Payment-card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored by ICF Designer.

ICF build-guide emails

The guide list is optional and separate from product registration. An address is added only when a person enters it in the guide form and actively checks the consent box. We record the consent wording, its version, the source and subscription time.

The first guide is sent after signup, followed only by occasional ICF cost and build guidance. We do not buy, rent, scrape or import third-party marketing lists.

Unsubscribing, bounces and complaints

Every guide email contains a unique unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing takes effect immediately and does not affect an ICF Designer account or project. Amazon SES account-level suppression is enabled for hard bounces and complaints so suppressed addresses are not repeatedly mailed. Delivery, bounce, complaint and rejection events are monitored through the dedicated guide-email configuration.

Service providers

We use service providers only where needed to operate the product, including Amazon Web Services for hosting and email delivery and Stripe for payments. Information is not sold.

Connected ChatGPT and Codex assistants

If you choose to connect an assistant, ICF Designer shares only the project information requested by the assistant tools for projects owned by your account. This can include project names, design-stage status, building-level counts, and room or fitout information. The assistant connection does not receive your ICF Designer password, payment-card details, or another customer's projects.

ChatGPT or Codex processes the returned information under the OpenAI account and settings you use for that service. ICF Designer stores the connection grant, hashed access credentials, expiry and revocation status, and an audit record for approved project changes. Write actions require the requested permission and an explicit approval step. You can disconnect the assistant through the connected service or ask us to revoke the connection.
